Master in tourism Management with three years Diploma in Hotel Management Catering & Nutrition, Certified Hospitality Educator with undergone an ILO/UNDP fellowship programme for advance training in Front Office at Cornel University, United State of America, has been awarded certificate of appreciation from IHM, Lucknow & NCHM, New Delhi and also has been awarded certificate of competence by Indian Society for Training and Development. Successfully completed courses on Direct Training skills (DTS) and Design Of Training & SATS. Imparted Training Programme in Management Development, Supervisory Development, Room Division, MTM, attained numbers of workshops related to hotels and hospitality education. Awarded ILO/UNDP fellowship programme at the college of Further Education, Plymouth, U.K. Successfully completed courses on Direct Trainer Skills (DTS) and Design of Training (DOT) and  awarded certificate of competence by the Indian Society for Training & Development.

Expert , Italian Food production workshop conducted by U.N.D.P./I.L.O. project consultant. Imparting training & education in Food production specialized in bakery & confectionery.

Specialises in House- keeping though Front Office is a strength as well. Was Training Manager at the Quality Inn Green Park, Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh). Taught House-keeping at the Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration, Manipal (Karnataka) for four and a half years alongwith managing the House-keeping and Front Office departments of the attached hotel, Valley View. Experience includes Front Office position at the Taj Mahal and the Taj Palace Hotels, New Delhi . Three-Year Diploma in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering and Nutrition, New Delhi in 1982. Elementary certificate course in German at the Max Mueller Bhawan, New Delhi . House-keeping workshop at the WG Mughal Sheraton, Agra (U.P.), Trainer Development Programme conducted by the South Asia Tourism Secretariat in 1996, certified House-keeping Trainer. Mukesh Kr. Sachan, born on 06th January, 1973 is a Hotel Management Diploma holder of the batch 1991-1994 from Govt. institute of Hotel Management, Dehradun. Started the career with "The Landmark", the only 5 star hotel in Kanpur as the room service captain. Later moved on to join the "Trident Hotel" a sister concern of the East India Hotels Ltc. (Oberoi Group) in Agra & Jaipur for more than six years.

Last working experience has been with "Ajit Bhawan" a heritage resort in Jaipur as Manager Food & Beverage. Presently working with IHM Lucknow as Faculty Food & Beverage & has successfully completed three years in this institute.
